The Kalispell Fire Department is an all-hazard Fire and EMS department serving the City of Kalispell with a first due response area of approximately 14 square miles. We do so with a career staff of 32 personnel which staff two fire stations.
Message from the Fire Chief
Welcome and thank you for your interest in the City of Kalispell Fire Department. Kalispell, the Flathead County seat, is located in beautiful northwest Montana just minutes away from the gateway to Glacier National Park (U.S. National Park Service), Flathead Lake, the Whitefish Ski Resort and many other natural getaways. The Kalispell Fire Department is proud of the history of our department and the services that we provide to the communities we serve. I personally am honored to represent the great staff that we have in our department whom fulfill our mission statement of “Protecting our community with the highest level of professionalism.”
