The Public Works Department is comprised of Engineering, Water Resources, Maintenance and Construction, Budget Resources, and Administration divisions. We are responsible for:

  • Budget Management and Control
  • Construction Management and Inspection
  • Fleet Maintenance and Acquisition
  • Garbage Collection and Disposal
  • Infrastructure Engineering and Design
  • Snow Plowing, De-icing, and Leaf Removal
  • Storm Drainage Collection
  • Street Maintenance and Improvements
  • Traffic Control Operations
  • Utility and Facility Planning
  • Wastewater Collection and Treatment
  • Water Supply and Distribution

The Public Works Department is also responsible for reviewing development plans to ensure all new developments are in compliance with City ordinances and regulations.

The Public Works Department is located in the lower level of City Hall where customer service staff await to provide courteous service and assist you with questions on street maintenance, solid waste service, construction projects, water supply and distribution, and permits.
