LATEST UPDATE 03/15/2023:
2023 Spring Curb Side Leaf Collection
Public Works will be collecting curb side leaves this spring through the first week of April. Residents are asked to rake the leaves to the curbside by April 5, 2023. Leaves will not be collected via curb side pick-up beyond the first week of April.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to rake the leaves from the boulevard onto the street approximately two feet away from the curb. Residents should rake the leaves past the curb.
2023 Spring Curb Side Leaf Collection is a one-time spring service in consideration of the severe wind and snow event that occurred last fall and created tree debris obstructions to the curb line.
Leaves will not be picked up outside of this special Leaf Collection Season.
Spring leaf disposal will revert back to normal procedures on April 10, 2023. Please contact Public Works for guidance on proper leaf disposal after the Leaf Collection Season.

Season
Public Works will start the collection of leaves this season beginning October 10, 2022 and will stop the collection effort on November 18, 2022. The leaf collection season is instituted to promote effective and efficient leaf collection services by the Public Works Department prior to the onset of the winter snow season.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to rake the leaves from the boulevard onto the street approximately two feet away from the curb. Residents should rake the leaves past the curb by the start of their scheduled weekday, to not miss collection.
Schedule
In an effort to provide routine leaf service in areas throughout Kalispell, Public Works has designated areas of leaf collection for each day of the week. Please click the image at the top of the page for the map with the designated areas and corresponding days of the week for collection. Public Works will make every effort to collect leaves on the designated days, however unpredictable leaf volumes, weather conditions, and equipment failures may require leaf collection days to be performed outside of the scheduled areas.
Important Notes
Do not put rocks, dirt, cans, bottles, branches, and items of this nature in the leaf piles. This can cause bodily injury to personnel or bystanders and damage machinery.
